What type of insurance do you accept?
View a list of the insurances I accept here. Unfortunately, I am unable to accept Medicare or Medicaid currently.
What to expect during your first visit?
Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork. Please bring your insurance information, as payment is required upfront. Deann will handle all insurance claims for you.
During your first session, I will take the time to understand your goals and what led you to explore therapy. I will also discuss your background, starting from childhood, to gain a deeper understanding of your experiences.
I will carefully review all paperwork with you to ensure you’re comfortable and fully informed. To determine if therapy is the right fit, I typically recommend at least 2 to 3 sessions.
What type of therapy do I need?
The selection of a therapy type is determined by your personal needs and goals. We will discuss your concerns, your history, and what you wish to accomplish through therapy during the first session. From this, we shall tailor an optimal approach, whether that means individual therapy, couples therapy, grief counseling, or other specialized therapy services.
If necessary, I can direct you to additional services or resources that correspond to your particular difficulties. Together, we will review progress in therapy as it unfolds and adjust the strategy to ensure you obtain optimal results until the therapy is done.

Yes! I offer unique and mindful couples counseling no matter where you are in your relationship.
Do you provide counseling for kids?

How frequently do I need therapy sessions?
In the beginning, I recommend more frequent visits to focus on addressing root causes and developing therapy strategies, however, it is entirely up to patients and what they are comfortable with. I try to be very flexible with scheduling sessions.
